Since most of KofK migrated from Gaia, it can't be that much difference from there. I've seen Xae in a group RP here, I think so you might want to try asking him if you're interested in what goes on. I still go back to Gaia when I get the urge to RP. XD; I just like the large numbers and the variety.

Gaia does have the benefit of numbers, although I'm finding I like Solia alright as far as RPs too. Lots of people doing 1x1 there.

Ah, well, I generally keep to this thread, but sometimes I visit Moi, Firn, and KC's hangouts. :) Depends on who I want to talk to and who's there, I guess.

I've seen Moi's hangout, but it looks all awesome and busy. I'm afraid to go in it... It seems awkward somehow... ^_^;;

Well, at Solia there are... different sorts. There are a lot of people looking for 1x1 with various genres and ideas. A great number of them play yaoi (I do hope this means BL and not like cybering) and yuri, but some don't so much. It seems like there are tons of RPers though, even though group RPs don't seem to last well. The free-forms are nice for group stuff. There are some newbie players, some vets, some purple prose and some pretty balanced sorts. They like a lot of post glitter and small fonts though, which is the only thing that gets me about it. I think a lot of the people there are older than Gaians though and it's smaller.

I don't know if I need to say this, but the community seems open as far as sexualities and such since there's a LGBT main forum.

If you check it out I'm Maverick (at least that's the account I'd want referrals for) on there- referrals get points.

Aha, yeah, I love hanging out with Moi, but I don't post there most of the time because I can't keep up with the thread.

That's like RPing characters in an anime or something together right? Like two guys or girls that aren't usually shipped? Not so much, I hardly play romances. I like playing my OCs ^_^;;

Slash is boy x boy --I don't like using the term "yaoi" because it's reminds me of those seme/uke stereotypes and because its original meaning is not so great. Crack-shipping is the term you're thinking of for the fandom thing. XD

Aha, me too, honestly. There's one going on, and I don't know if they're accepting, but I don't like just jumping into a story once it's already begun.

I play bi characters pretty often and I'll play homosexual or heterosexual relationships. I have several male couples in stories and such. So I guess I do write stuff like that? I haven't actually played a relationship for a long time in RPs, just because it doesn't seem like they develop or the RP ends too early. Someone was trying to force an interest with my character in one walk-in type, but based on how he was feeling and what she was, etc... He had no interest, he was just suspicious.

I don't like jumping into established stories either, especially if they're not like walk-in form. It's hard to know what's going on then and keep up.

Ah, cool. Some of my characters are bi, but I rarely get to ship them with female characters...mainly because I look for slash RPs. XD; It has happened on occasion, though, where our characters meet in group RPs and then just happen to click.

I understand how a lot of them don't seem to work. It's a shame (sometimes), but the ones that get somewhere are pretty worth it. Besides, it's the getting there that I like, all the eagerness and nervousness... it's very fun. X3 Ahh, now I want to RP! DX Three more weeks...

When people try to force a situation or emotion on my RP, they either get rejected straightforwardly, or, if that's not in character, I will intervene and just end the RP. I'm not one to make my character suffer or tweak with their personalities in order to keep my partner happy. That's not why I RP.

XD Exactly. And I would like to have some set plot that is defined enough and yet still open for interpretation. For some reason, I really like school-themed RPs. A large number of characters of different ages and personalities can interact and make sense of it. :)

Well, I was play a free form, so he just moved on instead of saying anything to her or giving into her character's desperation. He's already in love anyway, he's not "up for" a relationship. I always consider my character's motivations and such before doing anything like that. I keep saying I should try a 1x1, but I'm nervous to, because I don't think I'd been good at it... Maybe I should read some and see how people manage it. Heh, soon ^_^;

Do people usually RP foreplay and such in 1x1s?

Ah, I avoid school RPs unless they're supernatural or something... Just because it reminds me too much of school and I can't stand to think of it when I'm free for a while. It's probably funner to write about than do though.
