@Doki-sama: I just saw your 2nd gen air and light and 3rd gen light evolved.
Wow...so fast as always...I was left behind
I was taking a break for two weeks, and now see what happened, my old knuffel isn't the number 1 top most feed anymore, I was beaten by iryska. And by you...xD
Anyway, I'm so happy to see the 4th stage of Air and light 2nd gen. The air looks so beautiful...I don't know, I remembered a blue rose when I saw her. And the light one looks like a prince..a bit like a priest too...xD
The 3rd gen light...I never thought she would turn out to be like pegasus. Well...actually her clothes look similar to pegasus set from the beginning...

You'd think the calculation would be a bit more simple sense you'd just need to take that, the points you earn purely from feeding, and the amount of minutes in a day... along with the points needed for each level.

Thanks. XD As for force feeding I can calculate a little of that for you.
Every 3 minutes you can play with a knuffel. Every 6 you can feed it.
So every 6 minutes you gain an average of 3 points. Theres 1440 minutes in a day so the max you can get from force feeding if you never sleep or miss an opportunity is 720. So that would be successfully leveling a knuffel in less than a day all the way until lvl 72. (not including any points from digging)
But I think if someone succeeded in doing this they would probably go insane.

For a more realistic perspective it depends on how often you do force feed them. By force feeding you can knock the average down by a day or two.

Does any of you happen to know whether it really pays off to level a Knuffel out of its element? I mean, does it gain levels faster from a certain point or not?

I'm sure I could calculate that, but I don't really feel like it, so if someone already knows the answer, I'd be glad if he could tell me.

Sadly I don't think I could calculate that. Theres one variable I don't know and thats the frequency of food digs. 6.6 Sadly digging outside a primary element and getting food gives you as many points as if you had dug inside the primary element.

Originally yes, at a certain point it would eventually pay off to level outside the primary element as long as you kept at it and tried to get that element to 100/100. With food points it just throws everything out of whack.

I still don't quite understand why they don't earn more from digging up food outside their element.

From my personal experience, Knuffels dig up food way more often than materials (let alone outfits... how do they count, anyway? Like materials?), so ... well, I could gather stats on how often a successful dig is food and how often material (I guess, outfits could be left out for the sake of simplification as they are extremely rare.), but I doubt that it would help a lot. From a mathematical point of view, we'd need thousand of tries to get a more or less realistic idea of it...

Maybe Firn/Starkad will tell someday?

He looks cool, Doki. I like stars and moons. He looks night sky inspired.

He looks a bit too dark for my taste... I wish he was a little lighter. When pictures are too dark, it gets hard to see the details.

But on the other hand, I like the moon and stars, which make a great contrast.

Anyway, I'm not disappointed! I just hope he won't get any darker throughout the next stages *fingers crossed*
