Did you get all your wisdom teeth pulled at the same time?
I did.
I had fun drinking my meals for 5 days.
lol

I couldn't eat solids for two weeks.

My mouth refused to open wide enough to put solids in ._.

Thanks guys. Naw, I just had one pulled, but it was a doozy! The dentist was yanking for what felt like forever! :mcdead:

@KC- Yah, I'm currently in Japan, but only for another month, then I'll be back in the US of A. I really like it here, but like every place it's got it's good & bad. I'll miss it, tho :mcsleepy:

Don't they put in pain medication while they're pulling? O__O

They do. When I had all mine pulled I just had the numb shot (whatever its called), they also have funny gas they usually give you, but I knew I could do it with out. (saved $100! XD )

When I got a tooth pulled, I was scared at first. I went in to
get a cavity filled and it was way too bad to fill, so they told
me they'd pull it for me. I was worried the shots wouldn't
numb good enough, but they did. They gave me about
3 or 4 shots in that area and pulled it out.

The only thing sore the next day was the shot area.

I was never offered the gas. Just shots and an IV ._.

But the shots aren't bad at all. They barely hurt if at all.
Sometimes in the back they hurt, though.

Ooh, the last time I went to get a cavity filled, the shot didn't numb me.
I kept telling the dentist and they didn't want to give me more.
I ended up feeling most of the work they did.

After all of that, I ended up wanting to be a dental assistant.

My friend's dad said "You know you'll have to help them, right?
There will be blood, can you handle that?

:O Now I'm not so scared of getting teeth pulled. :D Thanks Moi. <3 If it really does numb it that much and the shot doesn't really hurt, then I have no worries. >:D

I think they can fill cavities now with this plaster thing. Or something. It's like glue... And you don't need to have your teeth numbed. O.o

I never get the funny gas.
I don't like the way it makes me feel.
I am always afraid I would get to much and might choke on something.
Don't know.

I prefer shots, and if I get anything pulled I make sure they give me enough.
Some times I ask for more.

Is funny gas the stuff that makes you laugh? o-o

LOLOL its nice to know others didn't want to use funny gas. There have been alot of people that can't believe I got my teeth pulled with out it. But it really was not all that bad. The part I hated was recovering. >_<;

I don't know what the gas really dose to you, but it makes you feel funny or woozy and you more acceptable to things I guess. But I can't really tell you what its really like, I never had it. ^_^;

And don't be afraid, Hikari! Jump into it with all your bravery! It sucks, but it has to be done. If you don't it can cause worst problems later on.
