I was tired and high off my sleep medication too. So I was extra confused.
It sounded like something falling down stairs but we don't have stairs.
Then I thought maybe it was a tree limb falling because our tree has really loose limbs :\

How'd they fall over? o-o
Trees falling are scary.. had one fall here a few years ago.. just feet away from the outter wall of my bedroom.. x0x scared all 3 cats, me.. mom slept through it x-x
Wonder if I still have the photo... moms bedroom window faces the wooded area, so I got a good photo.

I guess the nail came out a little and they just slid off.
My aunt said it's happened a few times.
Yeah, our tree is pretty much dead and the limbs are rotting off and they're right over the car and our house.
I stopped putting cat food under them too because I don't trust them.
Sad thing is is if one did fall on the house - we have no house insurance :\
I remember when I was young, a kid at the park had a tree limb fall on them and it killed them.
I think some people don't realize that limbs are very heavy.
They'll destroy anything they fall on .__.
I feel bad for our trees too. When we had to have my swinging tree cut down, I was so sad. That tree was very old and lived through a lot and there was nothing we could do to save it.
The tree my grandpa planted is mostly dead too.
I don't want to get rid of it.
Then our two trees out front are dying...

Sharing treats is pretty common here.
That tree had some rotten roots. I know a lady online who had to move because this huge pine tree landed on her mini van and she made the landlord pay to clean it up, so he kicked her out. In California.

Yea, that area in the yard and around the tree there gets swampy when it rains a lot. So not only were the roots rotted all to heck, the earth the tree was in wasn't able to support it anymore.

I'm suffering from leg immobility. It's when your cat decides to lay on your lap and make you pet it until A: It gets up. B: You got no choice but to get up. Or C: You die petting it and it's only on its fourth life and demanding more pets.
