If you do that, don't you get bothered by the local kids using the castle as tests of courage since after a few decades the rumours must run rampant if you run alone... Not only that, but All that dusting?

(Not to mention the rats...Not well lived in castles are their favourite hideouts...)

Do you have a problem with rats? They're adorable little creatures and make for good companions when you are alone in a big castle, in my opinion!

Yes... but having lived with wild mice and rats I'm now terrified of them... They pop up where they shouldn't be. Really do have eyes that reflect the littlest light, make strange things go bump in the night and sit next to you only to be noticable by their tail the minute they slip off the couch...

No rats please?

It must be nice if your food delivers itself to your door! Maybe I should get me a castle after all...
I have long since refused to live in one, because it seemed just a bit to cliché to me. You do raise some interesting advantages though. How do I contact this otherworldly cleaning service? They did not exist yet when I last had a home big enough to need them, at least to my knowledge.

I've not heard of them now, but then again, I do live in quite the different environment...


As for the midnight snacks, I agree, apart from one thing... those small snacks to tend to make quite the ruckus and those shrilly screams give me such a headache... I prefer my snacks more... Adult... and full grown...

(lets just say my usual snacks are a feast to the eyes as well as the tastebuds)

I see your point about the food pleasing the eyes as well, but I do have to say that small snacks can be incredibly delicious... They're so soft and tender, sometimes the big ones just can't compare to that.

Well, depending on who you pick, there's always tender meat...

Anyways... innuendo aside, I get your point... I just don't like the shrilly scream bit... Always ruffles me...

I love scaring the crap out of little kids. Although I couldn't resist helping that one five year old girl years back. When her big brother and his friends dared her to come into my castle. We had help from the otherworld in scaring them too.
