Happy Spring Event, everyone!!!
Oh my gosh, I am in love with this theme! I love bees! 
They are so important to a healthy ecosystem. They provide us with some of life's most beautiful things (flowers, honey, fruit, vegetables, plants in general, and through that, every animal and other consumer all the way up the food chain!!!). And they are just SO GOSH DARN ADORABLE! <3
For all of those who are wary of bees, remember:
Bees are bros. 
Wasps are not bros.

I don't notice too many bees are here (I guess it's cause we don't have many flowers). I generally stay away from flying insects.

Unfortunately, bee populations have been declining rapidly worldwide. ; A;
It's going to cause huge issues with agriculture and food security very soon.
Protect your local bees! Plant bee-friendly flowers! Reduce pesticide use! Keep your own hives! Support your local bee keepers! 
Bees are really nothing to be worried about. They only string when absolutely necessary (since they have a barbed stinger which gets stuck in your skin when they sting, which is attached to their intestines, so if they do sting it will result in their death very soon after - it's really a last resort to protect themselves or their hive). ^^;
Wasps, on the other hand, can sting you as many times as they want, so they often will do it just for the hell of it.
Wasps are SO not bros.

I had been stung by a wasp before. Was drinking a sugary drink at the camp and it attacked me out of nowhere - that sure did hurt.

I really do love the bees!
But we should have a chat thread for the Spring Event to talk about bees in, since this is mostly the Candy Caravan Chat, shouldn't we?
