They call him The Queen of Europe... Seriously... As a woman with boobs and vagina I feel offended that they compare me to unshaved guy in a dress... There were better artists that got less attention. Just because they were properly dressed for their gender they were worse.
Also all bitching about Polish show during Eurovision. Yes, we had girls with boobs there. If they had beards too it'd be ok, right? I'm really ok with whatever ppl want to do with their lifes or bodies. But if You dress up as a woman, for God's sake, shave Yourself! It looked really disgusting and even if the song was good, I just couldn't stand looking at my TV...
There is this joke in Poland, that in Germany the beautiful gender are men. I guess in Austria it's true too. If the Queen of Europe is a guy... than I guess I should gtfo from this continent.

Queen is also a slang term for men in drag/flamboyant homosexual men. Maybe that's what they meant. Not royalty.

Well I guess I'm not much into these terms, so that's how it sounded for me and probably most of the people.
Still, eyeliner and fake lashes just don't go with beard.

I'm also a quite freely minded person. On a side note, that does not relate to taking care of yourself (decent shaving). But the opinions about that are also quite different. As long as she keeps her beard decent...thats just fine with me :)
And about Poland... It was a verry unique entry too. Its not my style, but you can try anything i guess? I'm just rather curious because i watched a press conference with Poland and they said "We want to show our country" or something like that... and because i don't know what the lyrics mean, i heard it like "We want to show that girls in Polen are all hot and sexy with big boobs."
(And to be really honest with you, in our country the polish have quite a... bad reputation >.< Probably because most people (me too) do appreciate if you come to our country for a living, than atleast learn a language we can understand. I'm totally fine with people who speak a little bit english!)

Here is a little bit translated. And for Eurovision part of the text was translated too.
But mostly it was done for the laughs, especially the MV and I think producers didn't even expect this to be chosen for EV. I think it should be taken more like Ukraine's "We are the winners of Eurovision" from few years back. Only they did it just for this occasion and nothing more. It was also quite catchy. And such simply lyrics...
Oh and about showing country, girls were wearing traditional clothes. Sure, we don't wear them now, but they are part of our culture. And also they were just washing clothes and doing butter.

Ooh, I find the translated version a bit creepy, to be honest.
And I'm with LeannaAnne. As long as it's not hobobeard, they can rock it with falsies and glitter if they want to.
