Why are maps soo difficult?!?!?!

@Moi: I suck at drawing buildings, so I just draw little squares with trapezoid roofs. Oh and my castles and towers look like those typical designs for sand castles. My trees are either lolipops or triangles with sticks. My mountains look cool though! lol

Yeah. I've heard tracing over buildings is pretty common and even pros will sometimes do it.

I haven't done backgrounds in years. And they sucked. No wait. I have done a few backgrounds, but they too suck. XD

I hate drawing trees... o3o the branches are so confusing. Especially naked trees.

this is my city map... as the website I used for the world map costs munz to make city stuff... o3o the good stuff is hidden behind a paywall.. >:x It's a good website though.

I dunno how I want the streets in 3 of the 4 areas (one area is the slums so broken buildings and ruins.. and i have it's future streets planned that I like)


As you can see.. my Marques mansions are more detailed than the castle I made layers for the first and second floors so I don't get lost in them too... x'D

My map book is 128 pages long and gives a lot of info and details.

wish i could take a look at the pages for how to make maps of towns =w=

I also realized that I forgot to make/place the church and hospital. That's kinda what gave me a clue on how to form my streets some how.. =/ weird right?


Then I'm here looking at the old map I had made... and I was like... "Who the fk owns this house... and do they own the cattle and horse stable thingies across the street from them? what are their names?"

=w= so now I gotta read my stuff to figure stuff out.

TREES was one thing I used to be able to draw. Right down to the little branches. Putting leaves on was hard.

My map just has squiggles in green to show where the forest is.
