Lulena: I hate loudness. Like kids are really loud, and I don't like it xD
Certain banging or things falling - I hate loud noises.

I love Studio Ghibli. Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata are animation and storytelling geniuses, in my humble opinion. :mclove:
And Goro Miyazaki is shaping up to be a wonderful animator, as well! :qh:
I'd love more Ghibli releases!
Someday, I want to collect all of his dvds (I have about half of them right now).
I also want to visit the Ghibli Museum in Japan someday. :qh: :qh: :qh:
My puppy is even named Kohaku after the dragon in Spirited Away. :mcblush: /dork

All that traditional beautiful art...watercolours I think it was.

Moi: Same!! Kids screaming just, oooh..... So bad for the mental.
Sadly in my current residence, apartment.... neighbor has a brat, and they
literally kick the walls and scream, and stomp up the stairs. Feeling rattled..

I grew up on ghibli, I was so sad when he retired but I did love
When Marnie was There, was a lil sad it wasn't as gay as I thought
butit was definitely a wonderful story and beautiful too;;

There was once a mini museum for ghibli and japan in general in seattle
area when I was growing up that I was able to visit. It was sooo nice!

Kohaku! I'm a dork too, he was my first 2d crush as akid;;; Ooph!

I love Studio Ghibli's art style! It's so lovely to watch!
I also really like how the backgrounds and landscapes are always super detailed, but the people are very simplistic. <3

I haven't seen When Marnie Was There yet. x.x I was sick when it came out, and I kinda forgot about it. Once I have wifi again, I'll see if I can find it online! :mclove:

I had a really rough time in high school. I was very sick for parts of it, and other parts I was dealing with some trauma, so things were hard. At one point dad encouraged me to keep striving forward by saying he'd get me a puppy for graduation if I made it through 'til then. Don't think he really thought I'd survive high school. No one did. But I did, and when graduation came around I demanded that puppy! >8U I got Kohaku a few weeks before school got out, and he was the best thing that's ever happened to me! :mclove:
I was really scared about going to college, just like Chehiro was afraid of her new school. And I thought, well, all of her adventures with Haku helped her grow as a person - the last line of the movie is even her saying "I think I can handle it" when her dad makes mention of moving to a new school in a new city being scary, and I thought, hmmm, I hope my new puppy gives me courage and strength like that! >8U And sure enough, he did! Haku was my rock all through uni - some days that bouncy wiggle butt was the only reason I got out of bed. I love him so much! I can't wait to see him in a few weeks - it's been 3 long months since I saw him last!
He lives with my parents now, and they spoil him rotten. <3 I can't wait to see him!

I love the food in the movies xD

I started watching them when an older channel aired them all weekend.
I taped most of them, and I really enjoyed them.
I've managed to get a few DVDs, but I want more.

I'm trying to get my sister to watch them, but she refuses xD

The way ghibli's artists animate food is beyond beautiful.
They make even food that I don't like look tasty.
Like honey, or fish pie. XP Yuck!

I'VE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE!!!! ; A;
I was browsing on MangaKiss, and I found a manga with a very cute character on the cover, and usually I don't let myself read uncompleted stories because I have a habit of marathoning my managa, but he was just too cute for me to resist~! <3
Well, two hours later and I just finished all of the updates, and now I have to be....patient!
