I actually get so annoyed when I find something I like and then it has fake pockets! It is such a deal breaker for that piece of clothing!

Oh gosh yes! Although sometimes I slit open fake pockets and sew in real ones.

I think one of my favorite gifts ever from my younger sister was when she got a friend of hers to sew me a skirt that had deep pockets. I loved that thing so much I wore it into pieces.
And I'm not joking about the pieces; it was fraying with holes and patches and darned places and some sheer slits on it and I would wear it anyhow, until the Incident of the Bramble Patch left ribbons of ex-skirt strewn over the briar-filled field of battle and me with maybe enough material left to stuff a pin cushion.

I miss that skirt. Its pockets could hold nearly ANYTHING.



You MADE that dress, Rebecca? Yikes, you and Kyan really could set up a business here! How serious were you guys about that, anyhow?

Oh gosh I couldn't!
All I did was use a pattern and it had instructions as well and my teacher helped me out as well. I cannot sew at all!

I have a family friend who is awesome at sewing!
I just want to learn :)

Crest: I have this one pair of pants where my pocket fits only half of my phone xD So it awkwardly sticks out, unless I wear a shirt long enough ;;

On the contrary, I'm a purse girl :D I carry one where ever I go, even if it's just to hold my phone!

I want to start creating my own clothes, or at least get better at sewing!

And I use a handbag because I have no choice XD

Hmm, learning to be more proficient sewing could come in handy for me...
I especially need to figure out how to securely sew buttons onto thin fabric, how to do button holes, how to replace zippers, and matching print patterns when cutting fabric to start a new project....

I'm crocheting a blanket. It's taking a long time to get this done. I've been working on it foreeevver.

Kyanite20 - I can't carry things in my boobs. It would be all gross and sweaty.

I have some definite ideas of clothing I would love to own and as far as I know it doesn't exist to buy, so learning to sew properly would be really nice!
Plus, suddenly the Halloween costume possibilities would expand.

But honestly I'm more likely to tackle cobbling than further sewing stuff. :-/
