ugh.. i was sleeping so well... I fell asleep at a decent time.... and the bishes up stairs decided to have a jumping party or something and woke me up around 12.. i TRIED to get back to sleep.. nope... even ate something to see if that works because that puts me to sleep during the day.. nope...

So i went in mom's room separated all her Johnny Cash stuff and put it in the closet... (2 crates full of JC crap)

Her cd collection, I kept a small stack... found my high school choir CD mixed in with all of the others.. QAQ she had 2 full crates of CDs, though one crate was basically the basic CD type then the other crate, 1 row of basic cds, the rest are CD box sets =3=

Gonna sell all these at a pawn shop.. gotta go through her vinyl records next.. just need to find a box i can put them in .. they don't fit in crates.

@Moi: I remember reading or watching something on Discovery + that there was a tribe of people who wore wolf skins in order to gain their abilities or something like that.

@DK: I haven't asked recently. How have you been holding up?


Update on my Dad: (And us)
Dad's doing great. He's more relaxed and just enjoying things. He's been able to watch tv or movies. Sort his stamps or his Hot Wheels. We just watched the last Freakazoid episode on Tubi. Which is a bummer. He says if he can't get a job with in a certain time he just might semi retire until he can go full on retired. He hasn't complained about bad headaches or nightmares. And he's not so stressed if at all. It's great! Mom and I are happier than ever for him!

DC: I'm hanging in there... kind of panicked at the moment though.
Welfare called me last week threatening sanctions if I didn't get back into their work program.. the same work program that abuses their workers...

I called my counselor today, she wasn't there yet, been waiting for her to call back but there's less than an hour before that place closes now, and she hasn't called back.. tomorrow is when welfare will be calling me for the job set up... i'm starting to panic again... I been trying to get a real job so I could avoid welfare's abusive work places... Cause at least, if work abuses their workers, I can just blow the whistle.. welfare they'll just take you off foodstamps and screw you over.

having to deal with welfare over this the day BEFORE my SSI application appointment... I hate this...


Glad your dad is able to relax some. I hope he can find a better job that isnt as demanding as the previous one.

No other way for me to sell some of this stuff and make room in time for inspections.. It's either that or toss them =/ I'll take a little over nothing.

Hey, DK, can I mooch one of the Johnny Cash CDs for free? Or I can send you some other doll once I'm out of debt. Sometimes that guy's singing can calm me down. Lots of memories attached.

*hug* I hear you on the panic. I just moved out of subsidized housing, and they sent me a list of things to do, and a list of charges if the things aren't done. And I'm already in debt for moving, because AISH (disability) wouldn't pay for the moving or the damage deposit.

She has 2 different CDs that were doubles, I could send you those if I ever get the money to do so. The ones she only has 1 of I'm keeping for now in hopes to sell to the johnny cash museum one day.. o3o

One CD LOOKED like a double except one had just 1 disk, the other had 2 disks!! OAO

but she had a LOT of CDs.. and I got her a box set a few years ago that had a lot of his CDs from the one studio he was signed with... x-x spent 200$ on that boxset but I doubt anyone would buy it for that much. especially since the box itself came damaged when we got it. >:x

And... wow. And also bummer on the expensive thing coming damaged.
