Yesterday they mentioned fall on the news. It made me a bit sad. ;__; The weather is also very fall-ish. There have been years when we still had such a nice, comfy after-summer time. Some sun, cooler evenings. I love those. Secretly hoping we'll still get those in a week or 2. :mcargh:

I blame it on the stores, last year I wanted a few Halloween things but they sold out early so this year I was determined to get them before they sold out. The store put out Halloween in July. It’s crazy. Anyway I just bought my Halloween stuff and put it out. I never bothered to decorate for summer.

What’s sad is we just ordered a Disney animated Christmas tree from Costco. My husband & I both love it, so I’m done with waiting to buy things. It’s ordered and will be our main tree this year. If I love it get it when you can. Otherwise it might be sold out.

Stores put up things for sale way too early.
For me it's too soon to buy them, it feels kinda weird, so I wait. If something sells out before I'm ready to buy, well, it's probably for the best.

I also don't have much home decor.
So I'm happy with just a little touch here and there for celebrations.

I still didn't get a fall avatar done. The nice weather returned and we have a true indian summer. I just looked it up, the Hungarian expression would literally be something like old women's summer or maybe a witches summer? Not sure of the exact translation, but all other languages like to go with Indians?

Anyway, I was more gypsy inspired. :3

Here we call them "veranillo" (lil summer).
Traditionally I was called "veranillo de San Martín" (St. Martin's lil summer) because St. Martin is celebrated on November and some years there are some unusually warm days in that month.

No Indians around here xD
