If someone did cuss and swear at you, that would be grounds for a warning, would it not?

If I talked about every user who I disliked, and explained why I didn't like them, it'd probably take a while to type everything out, and then I'd probably get in trouble for bitching out half of the community. =/

And yeah, your mouth has gotten you in trouble before. >_>; But you have been working on it, yeah. So I guess it's okay.

I don't honestly remember when a user has been rude to me, but I'm more of a lurker-worker than a BAM IN YO' FACE worker.
I'm trying to work on being more in the public though, that's why I wanted to make the announcement. x:

Most users I speak with are generally nice, I think I've run into one or two that's had a slight attitude with me, but I shrug it off and move to the next user who's usually nicer.
If a user tells me to fuck off, though. I'm going to give them a warning as if someone else had reported that person for that reason.
There is no excuse to be rude to people when they're not being rude to you.
Unless you have a bad day and you snap, but in that case it's best to apologize and move on.

@Moi: I guess it could be a psychological issue i just always thought people who are like that are on guard >>' as a way for them to make themselves less hurt by the realization.

Morrigan: We found it necessary to make an announcement about it because the moderators have noticed people being disrespectful to users.
Many times in PMs, but I've seen several threads about it as well.

I've been seeing a lot of rudeness towards the Mods.
And towards other users.
But I never say anything about it because I don't see a point.
If I point out to someone that they're being unnecessarily rude, then their ignorance gets turned on me.
With my temper, I don't need that. I know what I can handle, I guess.

But I do know that being disrespectful to staff is a no-no, and you can be warned for it.
So why do people actually come out and say such things? .-.
Even if I don't like a Mod or what they said, I wouldn't say something mean to them about it, you know?
That only puts a strike against me.
???????

I am sure there are countless times when people have let things roll off their back and nothing was said.
I do think threads like this are why this site stands above the rest.
A friendly reminder here and there gets things out in the open and helps things not fester.
People here feel that they are able to share with all the users here.
The staff are open and accessible to us all!
That is such a rarity on the internet.
I know more about some of you guys from around the world than I do with my own neighbors around the corner. Considering how many different cultures and personalities there are out there. I think we are blessed to have such a diverse community here!

I'm shocked that we have to be reminded
to respect others
This is probably the most friendliest website
I've ever played on,
And I'm surprised/horrified at the way people treat Mods o_O

There can be when people don't get a real exchange or loss of expectations of keeping their words and the like. This must have happened enough in a short time to make this little note come out so all the goody goody folks can act as normal.

But what importance is there of what I think?
