I was wondering that myself as well, if you enter last minute, and lets say you get some high votes at the last minute, will that affect your chance and let you win even if you submitted it so late?

I like the setup for the contest, but it would be nice to get some feedback from the voters too. Suggestions/comments perhaps, that only the creator could view to prevent spamming.

tried twice already, with my current avatar, but every time i check it says i don't have any entries yet.
maybe there's a waiting time? and by trying twice i've just entered the same avatar twice? xD

No, it seems to be a problem with Internet Explorer.
Sorry about that, starkad is trying to fix it.
The system is build the way that you need a minimum amour of people rating your avatar (very small though) before it can win. It was made this way so no one can submit his avatar a couple of minutes before the contest ends and then just rate "5" with his mule and then ends the contest with a 5/5 vote result, which would automatically make him win, even though just one person rated the avatar.
So I would suggest you try to submit your avatar at least a day before the month ends.
Sorry about that, starkad is trying to fix it.
