Sure.

is she sick?

Disabled. Her spinal cord is twisted or something like that. And she can't get an operation to fix it because there is a higher chance that she'll become paralyzed rather than fixed.

I didn't know a spinal cord can get twisted... I hope she isn't in pain

I believe its the spinal cord its what I remember. Unfortunately she's in a lot of pain and is on like four or five different meds. She also has chronic coughing and there's something wrong with her wrists I can't quite remember what.

No that's the good news. She smokes that's why the coughing, but I'm not sure about the wrists. I think its carpal tunnel. She has to sit in either her rocking chair or the computer desk chair. And when we have the money we have to get her a recliner to sleep in because it is getting harder for her to sleep in a bed. She has to sleep downstairs too.

but don't she have a headboard to prop pillows up so she can sleep in the the bed. When my shunt needed to be revised I got this really bad headache that only lessened when I slept sitting up so my mom propped pillows up so. Whatever she is sleeping on right now cannot be comfortable.
