Kingdom of Knuffel

We have a lot of things inside that were bought as Halloween decor that stays up year round. Actually, we've had a hard time removing them so the bloody handprints are still on the windows outside even though we started decorating for Christmas yesterday.

I’m glad we don’t decorate lol. So much work setting up and then taking it all down.

We mostly just do Halloween, though the past couple of years we've been fairly on top of Christmas well.

We don’t really do holidays much. Apart from changing out the lucky saying for Chinese New Years lol.

We just have a tiny fake tree and menorah that we use every year for Christmas and Hanukah

I see. Well simple is usually for the best.

I only have a small tree as well. And a garland with lights, I bought a lot of things when I invited a friend who couldn't go home for Christmas, just she could enjoy the atmosphere, and since I have them I get them out ever year.

I'm almost never home for Christmas anyway.

I’ve always like fairy lights. They’re so cute and sparkly. But I also hate having lights on when I sleep lol. And I feel like it would be a waste of electricity lol. XD

I didn't decorate last year but last year the house still looked like my parents lived there
Not really doing much this year either, past a tree with ornaments. I do have the little houses and have enough for a nice sized village, but I haven't wanted to do it for years and I don't think that it's clicked with mom yet
And by good-sized i mean it takes up about two-thirds a room. Conveniently the stuff it got set up on eventually moved as well so I can't set it up anyway

Sounds interesting. Like those Xmas villages or something. Or like a railroad train.
