Maybe, but actually being taught by a non-boring professor might make kids a little more excited for History of Magic.

Eh Kids will always have their fave subjects and not so much loved ones. Hermione got by just fine in the class and I'm sure others do too c':
I've had plenty of boring teachers in uni haha but if the subject is interesting enough it's still good

Ghosts are prevalent at Hogwarts and respected, and never treated as 'dead guys', language please ;o
aslo speaking in terms of incompetent teachers I think there's far worse to be had than a boring ghost XD
