May I point out that starkad is rather in a bad mood because people keep reporting the same things over and over again, so he has to read through pages of the same reports all the time, or report things that aren't even wrong, like "hopelessly" or "Victorita Dress/Hat" (which is simply the name of the items) and people go over board with this and are not really helpful but just add to more confusion or/and work just because they want the medal?
If you want to help out, that's really great. Thank you.
But if you are just hear for the medal and don't even bother to read back a few posts - max. one page to see whether the same typo(s) have already been reported you are not very helpful.
I have no say in who gets the medal or not, that's starkad's think, but I am the one who has to bear him when he is sitting in front his computer, looking at this thread and is cursing at all of you and I do not like it.
Not only because I am having enough stress and shit in my life right now without a bad-mood fiancée already, but because each time something or someone on KOfK is pissing him off it basically adds to another week in which he refuses to work on updates.
I appreciate user's help, real help. But basically searching with a loupe for mistakes here or writing down things that aren't even mistakes, but "could" be, or reporting things that were already reported are more work and little to no help. Starkad does not look into this thread regularly, so if he does not fix things right away it's simply because he has not notice yet, so it's better to just wait instead of reporting the things again. Because if someone reports something here, and he fixes it, and after fixing he finds 3 more posts reporting the same things...well, starkad is a nice guy, but there is a Knuffel King somewhere inside of him.

I'm so sorry to hear that.
I'm pretty sure nobody here wanted to add extra work to Starkad and even less to annoy him or disturb him in any way.
I understand you both have a lot of work -not only in real life but also the work and attention that a site like this one requires- and it's a pity hearing that sometimes KofK is a pain instead of a pleasure.
On the other hand I'm afraid I have to agree users are willing to post here just because they want a medal (I'm pretty proud of getting one and I won't deny it) and I think you won't solve the problem unless you discountinue rewarding each single little good behaviour.
Call me pesimistic but I think we're getting used to some bad habits...
And honestly I don't care if it adds another week on updates as far as KofK stays alive.
So if you and/or Starkad need to rest of all this work from time to time I don't see a reason why you should not -just leave the forum in hands of you mods and add updates whenever you feel you want to.
What I love about KofK is that it's got a sense of familiar community so why should we work in the same way as big entertainment companies?
Less events, less items, less updates... I don't care as far as I have the commuinty -and I think I'm not the only one here.
PS: It's a rant, I know. I could not shut my big mouth about this topic. Sorry if you feel it's inappropiate. Feel free to delete my post if you think it is.

I just noticed in your trade, like when your picking an item from the list to add to the trade, the Sport Swimsuit from 2009's summer event shows up as: Sport Swimsuit (B lack) instead of (Black)

and even more sorry for making Starkad so pissed and all
I sometimes seem to still act like a kid (medal thing) and I have kind of recklessy searched for things that might have rewarded me with one
I'm kind of ashamed of myself now, being so materialistic

so now I think I'm going to agree with what Amura said, not giving
those rewards anymore for those little things
giving your thanks (not curses ^^) is more then enough from now on!!

I also read Firn's post, and I thought it was wrong because my mom usually wore dresses and hats named "Victoria" So I thought it was wrong. I'm sorry for posting and posting all over again in the pages... since no one corrected me either, I thought I was right....

Hi there starkad i was updating my quest page and I was going through the new shop for the summer items and i noticed what I think is a typo but I would like to verify with you.
Item: Summer '10 Sceptre
is what the store says but is it supposed to be Scepter?
If it's spelled correctly sorry to bring it up :)

Sceptre is the British English spelling, scepter the American English one, so it's actually right.
