I'm working as fast as I can to gather items (because I have more time on weekends than on weekdays) but I have not used any yet.
It's hard to choose which ones to use when you are getting so many new items at once

I only got some bows and eyes so far. Is there an event thread yet which shows the items? And the total amount needed?

Digging once a day is great, and if you can't chat, just click through large page count threads until you find the pop ups.

You need 2000 points in total.
You can see how much you've already added by hovering over the bar.
And, yeah, follow Eva's link to find a thread in the chat forum.
