That's interesting, I had always assumed bunnies were less than exotic so I don't understand why they'd be illegal to be kept as pets, though thinking about it, it might be because they're invasive species or something.

I've had a few bunnies in my time. They're lovely but they do make a lot of mess XD Once or twice I forgot to feed my rabbit when I was a teen and even though she had fresh grass, lots of nibbles, and leftover food in her run, I felt so guilty D: I can't imagine I would be the most attentive owner now with my short-term memory issues.

Bunnies need a lot of space to run. Why would they be illegal as pets though?  Does it have anything to do with plague of rabbits in Australia? I've heard something about it.

It's awful that they've caused so much damage, but on the other hand, it is a little bit hilarious that people had to build a vast network of fences to try to keep out cute wittle bunnies XD It sounds like the kind of story that people will think must be made up in the future when we're all living on spaceships and such.

We actually used to have a couple of rabbits that were about the same size as a Jack Russell dog XD They squared off with one once, I'm not sure whether they were all terrified of each other or all too smart to approach something the same size XD
