I didn't plan to, I was content enough with the manga. xD One Piece is just so long I don't think I'd ever try the anime, I'm just slowly treading through the manga. It does have such a fun world though, I love seeing all the weird creatures the manga-ka creates. XD I am admittedly not super attached to anyone in particular, though. It's a really good and solid series, I suppose I'm just not super into it.

Magi delves into those issues as well, though probably in a much more serious tone! XD

I don't think the anime handled their characters very well, aside from their voices. XDD And aww thats too bad, I love Hinata. <w< Kageyama is kind of a dork, he's so intense sometimes though lol. They both grow a lot. :>

Dinosaurs??? XDDD I never tried Prince of Tennis. It had DINOSAURS??

Oh how I adore Mikorin. I started reading the manga last night and I'm basically laughing at every page. I love it. XD TOMODAAAAA!!

I was really disappointed with the CG transformation scenes for Crystal. xD But I didn't watch much further, I think it's a series I kind of grew out of. oxo;;

Hunter x Hunter I will probably just stick with the manga as well. o: I don't have as much time as I used to and it's hard to start up such long series.. ;___;

Aladdin being the main character makes sense. I guess they didn't do that for the anime because he's not the standard "hero" type.

The action and emotional scenes are a bit more enjoyable in the anime than the manga [except when they do all that looping running fillers] and I like their soundtrack. My brother's such a fan of OP to the point that we have to go visit the theme park when we go to Japan, aha. My favorite is Zoro.

Yes, I saw a bit of that in Magi in the anime.

Yeah, everyone tells me that the characters in Haikyuu develop over time.

Uhh...some guy... hitting a ball with his racket and dinosaurs would show up. Another had tornadoes.

Yes, yes! XD Good grief, that manga series cracks me up! I've gotta reread GSNK again.

*nod* I know what you mean. The good thing about the Hunter anime series is that it ended. At some point in the manga, though, you can tell that the creator was really sick, because the art is so blurry, with barely any background. There were points in the Greed Island and Chimera Ant arc that was like that.

My brother is actually very different from me in the fact that he actually likes otome-like games [although I can't remember what they're called, he actually played some games on his 3DS where you can pair up the characters]. His best friend also likes Ouran, which I find to be hilarious, but in a good way.

I don't like Ouran at all, but it's not really in line with my interest or sense of humor. Whenever someone asks me who my favorite character is, I tell them it's Kasanoda and that kills the conversation, pfft. [I watched the entire Ouran upon recommendation, btw. The same person also recced Haruhi, but I quit that after the first five minutes. *facepalm*]

I'm not a romance-type person, but I like brotherhood and friendship-type relationships.

Ah :) brotherhood and friendship otome games exist and I think I own some good ones. But right now x.x I'm wayy too busy to be playing anyway games let alone recommend any.

Ah, I can understand that. A good soundtrack and voice cast can reeeeally enhance stuff. x) Hahaha, that's cute. I think that'll be a lot of fun though! Zoro and Sanji were my favourites when I watched as a kid. :> <3

@Lacrimosa: Zoro's my favorite overall character, although I like having Luffy for the main protagonist, and Ace and Law were following favorites. For female characters, I like Robin.
