Well, that sucks!! I'm sorry you lost your job. Sorry about the rest of the stuff, too. Hope you can get your license soon and find another job. Hopefully a better job!

"You need to provide proof of signing up for your driving test and at least 20 jobs or I'm taking off a week"
Great, it takes about two weeks for the license test. About two months to get a job unless the job really needs workers
Apartment? Took my sister and her now husband several months for their first apartment together. Took my one friend a year
Essentially I'm gonna end up homeless

Surprisingly she hasn't full out blown up in my face again
Managed to tell dad, oh, an hour before she called him to rant
He thinks she's overreacting
We have a roommate who also thinks that mom is overreacting, and will calm down
She also had me go on her laptop to sign up for driving test and look for jobs
Unsurprisingly the power cord hates me and now her laptop is dead
I also can't figure out the dmv site @.@
Also ate something for the first time in about two days all I had in between was boost, which are nutrition drinks so it's not like I'm 100% starving myself, just too stressed to eat and got meds that might help with anxiety
I really need to get my hair cut too

I think your mom is overreacting, too.

Yeah
It was funny watching her hide her deflation when I went on the state labor board and 99% was all nursing, trucking, and other high-skill jobs and the other 1% so far away, they're not worth it

I live in a rural area so I know how it goes when most of the jobs are so far away it's just not even worth it for what they pay. I got stupid lucky and got on with the local library so its not too far to drive.

Ooh, nice!
Dad's taking me to this job thingie to see what they have, get resume help, interview help, etc, and they have jobs not posted online. He's going to look at jobs too, I think more for a local job than one that's roughly an hour away, pending traffic
I'm really hoping I can walk out with something from that
Just not fast food cuz fast food jobs are hell

Retail isn't that great either, but it beats the heck out of fast food. I worked retail for a number of years before I started at the library. I wish you both much luck in your search.

I worked in both retail and fast food. I didn't really mind either job but I can't really judge as I worked in Europe and was therefor protected under our work laws. :}
