I believe it has been predicted that Gen 2 would be released for/before the Holidays, but it's really all speculation. I'd really like to see trading come out. It's getting too cold here to go roaming around the parks. Also there are several parks that close during the winter.

i want trading to come out accross the world because other people can get region only pokemon and that would be extremely nice :o
