the jurassic world animated series ALWAYS ends their seasons on cliff hangers.
like, i realize all shows do LMAO.
I don't like cliffhangers.
I like seasons to have an end. It's an story, it should finish properly.
You may leave an open argumental line, something that you know may be explored in next seasons, but the main story line must be closed.
Imho cliffhangers show poor storytelling skills.

I had no idea 8u
You know what I don't like and I'm sure I'm in the minority - endings where it's like "Well, what do YOU think happened?"
People are left to interpret what happened themselves.
It's not my job to make an ending for something someone else made Bu
Just make an ending. Don't let people be like "Here's what I think happened!"
It bugs me ._.

This cliffhanger was more like "oh. he's the guy we need to thank for all the horrible, near death experiences we've faced these last six months."
And then, end episode lol

Moi, I don't like those either.
You can leave some aspects up to interpretation, but they have to be something minor.
If you don't have a proper ending, I feel cheated.
Which reminds me of Pygmalion, a play by Bernard Shaw. The movie My Fair Lady is based on it.
I don't know if you know the story.
Rich guy picks up poor girl as he bets he can turn her into a socialité. And he does.
There is this kind of romantic tension between them, but they never get along.
The story ends with a fight between them, she claiming she's going to marry this other guy.
On the second edition the author added a note saying "She said she's going to marry that other guy, why do people think she's gonna go back to the rich guy? No, she's not, obviously not!!"
Even if the end was clear, some people still wanted to be able to interpret it how they wanted.
And funny enough, their vision was the one who was adapted into the movie!

You know what's worse than a cliffhanger?
One that's to a series that will never continue ._.
Yeah, it's like....I shouldn't have to make the ending - that's not my job Bu
Yeah, I see people choose a different ending they like.
It happens a lot in like fanfiction and just fiction in general.
Making characters a couple despite it not being canon.
Though that's different than being like "You choose what happened at the end \8u/"

Yeah, cliffhangers to cancelled series suck.
That's one of the reasons each season should have a proper ending: one that does not look silly if - for whatever reason - there is not another season.
I don't mind watching old series, there is so much stuff I've missed thru the years.
But when I see a years old series and people comment that it was left without a proper end - I don't watch it at all.
I just don't care.

I've seen series I liked and it's like "Well, it wasn't popular enough so it got cancelled!"
Like bruh u8<
I grew up watching stuff my grandpa would watch.
So I've seen a lot of older sitcoms and movies.
Especially old black and white horror movies - my grandpa's the reason I love zombies so much because he got me to watch Night of the Living Dead when I was little.

ooh cliff hangers to shows that dont get a second season (or a follow up season) ARE THE WORST.
Its been a decade and i still havent recovered from the nine lives of chloe king.
Actually. most shows on freeform seem to ALWAYS end after one season.

Looked up Freeform.
Looks like it may only be avaliable to US residents?
We had HBO and now we also got Netflix.
Cause HBO no longer has Modern Family and we are watching that one.
