Moving is awful but gets exponentially worse in bad weather.

Its snowing again here. The roads suck.

Moving was successful. I'm sure we'll be hearing for the next few months about random bits and bobs that were misplaced or missing, but that part is, fortunately, not under my purview, so I get to ignore it.

I still laugh about Aunt Marta's missing record. (The very early "home recording" version of wax records. They'd had one made of their wedding, and it went missing the first time they moved from the graduate students' family dormitory) It showed up after her husband died and my cousins helped her clear out his stuff. They'd only moved FIVE TIMES between when it was first lost and when it was found.
Apparently it made the move with them every single time, and somehow she never spotted it until 65 years later!

It’s been rainy. And kinda grey and gloomy lol.

Good day to stay inside and drink some hot cocoa, then!

Hot cocoa tastes better if milk is used lol. And apart from almond milk which is blech, we rarely buy milk lol.

Well, mulled cider, then?

Mulled cider would be nice right now.

My car was a frozen block this morning.

I can think of more charming ice sculptures.

Yeah my car's icy shape left a lot to be desired. I was also not a fan of the time crunch it put me in.

Mulled cider sounds interesting. Altho I’d need to figure out what that is. Like I’m sure I’ve had it but I don’t remember what it is.

I’m currently sunbathing in my parents room. The sun is out finally and this room gets the most direct sunlight.
