Moi, are you talking about Sims 2 or 3 with that issue? I know in 3 I've had issues with them getting stuck for stupid reasons like that. Maybe it's been fixed in a patch or something. I know there was a bad issue with the super speed being... less than super, but that was fixed.

It's not an issue, it's just annoying that one wouldn't move
aside and the other wouldn't walk by.

I would not know on this subject. I never had to have glasses but it sounds mega annoying. X_x

I get headaches so much.
I haven't gotten new glasses, but I know older glasses seem to have that effect as well.
