I don't know.
Probably does not make much of a difference.
I mean we get one event each season anyway: spring, summer, autumn (Halloween) and winter (Doughnight).

It is interesting. Makes me think about how there are always multiple types of seasons going on in the world at any one given time.
I've never done the summer-chasing thing where you swap hemispheres to have a full year of summer but maybe someday, if I make enough and can retire....
I don't want to get stuck anywhere during monsoon season though. I get nightmares about flash floods.

We could do an opposites trip, then -I'll follow the summer heat and you can chase the winter chill. We could send postcards to each other talking about how perfect it is

I don't suppose you like winter sports? :)
I actually don't dislike the cold, at least not much these days. It used to be more of a problem but I put on some extra weight and now I tolerate the cold a lot better. It's made my life much more comfortable! But I still love the summer heat. Didn't get much of it growing up, for one reason or another, so it feels like a treat for the first four months or so.... when I lived in a desert region near the equator it was the first time I felt like I actually got enough of it, but even then I never minded, more like the craving for it eased up. My brother thinks I just have a vitamin D deficiency, ha ha ha ha.
I just think people are all different, and that's just my own personal oddity.
(Considering I once knew someone who couldn't stop sneezing unless she was wearing something purple, I don't think it's too outlandishly odd to want summer heat. Never did figure out what was behind that quirk. Wearing purple and sneezing don't have anything to do with each other. It was obviously psychosomatic but how....)
