Good morning everyone! It sounds like we all had a stressful weekend. My furnace went out on Friday night, so I spent most of Saturday in the basement with Dad trying to get it going again. We finally got it fixed, though. Hooray for heat!!

@DC-Hope your Mom is doing better, and I hope you and your Dad get some rest!

So just got back from the vet, we got meds. They think it's ulcers because there's some in her mouth too. Got eye drops and some steroid pills. And they also gave me flea/mite stuff just in case the fur loss around the eyes is mites, but it's appreciated regardless because Kuromi has a flea allergy. She goes back in 2 weeks.

This morning was a panic cause Bry never put the appointment in her phone, she changed jobs so her mom was suppose to take me, and her mom knew nothing about it! Luckily bry still had today off so she rushed to get here, and we BARELY made it! x'D
I made the next appointment for 9:30 instead of 8am >3>, if Bry's boyfriend didn't wake up to go pee, i would have never have made it. x'D

I hate taking my cats to the vet. Skittie screams the entire way there. Then when we get back she hisses and growls at Skeezits for a couple of days. Since it doesn't matter which one goes to the vet for her to react that way I'm pretty sure it's the smell of the vet's office that she's reacting to.

Kuromi hates car rides.. she was a little uneasy while we waited outside, but i think that's because its raining and chilly outside. We get into the car and it starts going... goodness the cries she made. she's normally so quiet so hearing her be that loud.. x'D

We get to the vet JUST in time "Get here by 8:10 and you'll be good" .. got there 8:10 on the dot x'D

She quiets down as soon as she's out of the car.

I ordered these treats that have little pockets for pills.. she doesn't seem to like the chicken flavor, so I got the catnip kind since I know she likes cat nip.. if that doesn't work, I'll get her some wet food on the first.

I hate having to give mine pills. The pill pockets don't work for Skittie. She just eats the treatie part and leaves the pill part. Skeezits is more like a dog in that he scarfs his down so fast I doubt he even tastes it.

Apparently Kuromi doesn't like the treat. she's a picky eater. On the first I'ma have to get her wetfoods. =/

So Joslyn and I are watching Origins Explained on Youtube and this episode is about 7 extincted animals that talk about some that may still exists. And we found out the word Dodo is Dutch for "round butt". So it's round butt bird. So my daughter started cracking up and she's still going on about it.
