Pretty much. But if it helps you feel better, we're in the same boat XD

I know, I love it, I don't know how I ever looked at the screen without it now lol!

I just installed flux too. Thanks for mentioning it, I'd never heard of it before and it's made such a difference.

I didn't realise just how blue screens were! I always thought having the screen a warmer tone would really bug me because i love cool colours but even though the screen is a lot warmer I hardly notice a difference until I turn flux off, and then it's quite a shocking difference. :mcargh:

I know, it's one of those where I don't notice it when it's on, but I REALLY notice when it's not on! You can tweak it too to be more or less yellow. I like to really crank the yellow up high! I use it for eye sensitivity, but I've heard the blue screen makes you feel more awake, so then you're more likely to stay up later, and flux will help with that too?

Yeah, the blue light emitted from screens affects your circadian rhythm because its meant to imitate sunlight, which tells your body it's daytime so you should be awake, causing you to stay up later. That's the main reason I downloaded flux, especially because I haven't been sleeping well lately and I tend to do assignments at night last minute on my laptop, and i've got a few due next week. :mcsweat:

that's also why they recommend to get off screens a while before bed

I try to take good care for my eyes. But this is the first time I heard about a program like flux exist. I will download and install it. :mccool: Thank you!

And for the breaks, I do palming... If/when I remember I need a break...Which is not very often.. :mcdead:

An optician once told me that human eyes are more specialized in looking at a greater distance. So looking at stuff close by for a long time is just extremely tiring for your eyes. She also mentioned that if your doing stuff on a computer or something it's better to sometimes just look away and look at something further away. That way your eyes get the chance to relax a little.

And flux is the best!~ And if I disable it for some reason, the light of the screen will actually hurt for some time. Like a stabbing pain in my head a the back of my eyes :mcheh:
