My problem is that my partner has LOADS of friends. Basically because I moved to live with him on the other side of the country, all my friends were his friends first. And I'm not particularly close to them either. So he will look super popular and I will look like a loner XD
Also my extended family are crazier than a bag of cats. He met my Dad's side of the family recently when they had a wedding, and I think he was a bit overwhelmed XD I don't know if some of them could even travel to us though as they're getting old.
Having glasses is annoying, I hate wearing mine. But I do make myself do it when I need to because at the end of the day it's better to wear something you hate than to be blind/get a headache/get lost (<- happens to me because I can't read signs at a distance XD). But also I get a headache when using my glasses to look at a screen so that frustrates me. Man, why are human heads built so stupidly?

Lol, that would look the same for me, I only have one friend, while my bf has more then 5, or maybe even about 10 "friends/co-workers" he likes. So yeah XD
You don't want to know how overwhelmed Asherin was at my cousin's wedding. He only managed to remember the newlyweds, for obvious reasons (and barely, too), and my grandma's brother, but only because his moustache reminded him of a taxi driver, so whenever I said "uncle M", he had no idea. But when I said "the taxi driver" he remembered the face XD
It is kind of annoying, but overall I get headaches less frequently
I sometimes want to adjust the glasses on my face... only to discover I'm not wearing them

It doesn't matter if you don't know a single soul, at a wedding, the bride is the star! The groom is hardly noticeble
And in my current view, crazy familly makes it all that fun. At least that's how I feel now. Maybe I'll be a bridezilla and change my mind at the time XD
I think it's a matter of finding the right frames that compliments the face figure. I just haven't found one that suits me, so I'm not liking the idea of getting glasses at all. Plus I'm really clumzy and glasses cost a lot. I think I would panic a lot if I were to get a pair.

Oh man I do that adjusting thing all the time too! I always push the bridge of the glasses up, so when they aren't there, I end up basically stabbing myself in the top of my nose XD
He had a rather funny encounter with my grandma. She's really tiny and he wasn't expecting that XD

Hee hee hee, my mental image of that meeting between bf and grandma is very entertaining. I hope it was fun in reality as well.
On the glasses thing though -I do that too! And I'm so used to wearing them all the time that sometimes I fall asleep with them on, and then when I wake up I go to put them on -because of course that's what you do first thing- and can't find them anywhere and wander around searching for my glasses until realizing that, duh, already wearing them!

@Miky: Bridezilla XD I like it
If you'd need glasses, make your bf pick frames for you. He should know the best what suits you and what he likes on you, so he wouldn't run away screaming like a little girl when you put on hideous frames on your face XD Bf picked frames for me and I really like how I look in them, even more so than he does XD
@jacob: lol, my grandma is tiny, too, and bf is very tall. That just've been super funny XD
I adjust my glasses from the side, so when I'm adjusting them without them being on my face, I probably look like "oh, my head hurts" or "oh my, I left the iron on" or something along those lines XD And I always make that confused face when my fingers don't meet the frames XD
@Akili: Lol, I haven't fallen asleep with my glasses on yet. I think I'm too newb to do so yet. Not even a year.
I just remember when I first started, I was waking up at night and I couldn't stop seeing the shape of my glasses. At night. When I wasn't wearing them. Stupid brain playing tricks
119/200 I keep forgetting to add that -.-

Haha that's so funny Akili!
It was so bad because both my parents cracked up immediately. So I was trying to ignore them and also act normal but also somehow try to communicate to him to start acting normal and also at the same time trying to grab my grandma's attention so she wouldn't realise they were laughing. I felt like the only sane person in a group of crazies X'D And I was also trying so hard not to laugh as well. I think my parents might just be telling that story for many years to come.
