How nice that you had a good time :mccute: how were the turtles?
They passed the law only this year. It's actually a revoking of a British law imposed during colonial rule :mcsweat:
Hindu scriptures. Problem is, only the Brahmin case educated to read the scriptures, and it was up to them to interpret and propagate their message. In that way they were quite powerful. They ended up saying whatever they felt like. :mcmeh: and if anyone pointed out what they were doing they called them not just unorthodox but blasphemous.
Once I go off to college I'll be in a hostel so yup, I'll definitely have more freedom then :mcglee: I don't think there's much chance of me leaving the country, influx of immigrants from India and China is quite strictly regulated now. In spite of everything that's screwed up about my country, I know I don't really belong anywhere else :mcsad: at least we're a democracy so I can try and speak up, hopefully bring some change.
I'd like to experience mushy snow sometime! It was so annoyingly powdery in Seattle I couldn't even keep together a snowball!

They were awesome! I was so happy I cried a little bit. I was so ridiculously excited. lol.

Oh man! That's insane! They passed a law banning gay sex in 2015??? While over here in the US we're legalizing gay marriage all over the place. That's terrible. I'm so sorry. Do they enforce the law strictly? I mean do they arrest you on suspicion or do they actually have to catch you in the act?

Ah. That sounds suspiciously like the Catholic Church. Back before people knew how to read they would just say what ever the heck they like, a lot of the stuff isn't even mentioned in the Bible. Don't you hate when people in power are corrupt?

You're not going into a dormitory? I feel like it would be hard to study in a hostel. Well there are a lot of countries that are good to people. They've got England, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, and the US is okayish. lol.

Well that decision is up to you. I know that I want to at least move away from the area I live in. I'm not sure if I want to leave the country. I'm sure you'll get to play in mushy snow one day!

Aww! I love feeling like that :mcsquee:
If there's a recording or even an allegation that's enough. :mcgloom:
Yeah, funny thing is there was this professor who did an experiment where some of his students were made jailers and the others prisoners. It was made starkly realistic, they were living their complete days in their roles. After a while the jailers began bullying the prisoners, without even consciously realising it. Power just turns a screw loose I guess. :mcmeh: And of course, even the ones that aren't corrupt to start with end up getting sucked into the system.
Most people study in hostels :mcconf: they're not that bad, if you can put up with your roommates :mcheh:
It really isn't easy to leave. People do treat you good in many countries but they have to let you in to treat you good, which they've stopped doing. Too many of us are too prevalent :mclol:

I'm for legalizing gay marriage, I always have been.
But my therapist told me he doubts our state will allow it because it's somewhat in the Bible belt.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely 8u
The justice system all over the world seems flawed.
I watched a video yesterday about how they just released serial killers all over the world.
And surprise - some of them killed more people!
How could that possibly happen \8u/

Urban Myth - That's insane. It's going to be like the Salem Witch Trials. If you don't like someone you just accuse them of being gay and they're gone. Terrible.

Yeah, I know all about that study. I think it was called the Standford study? I can't remember exactly and I don't feel like looking it up.

I had no clue. How interesting.

I suppose that's true. I was unaware that a lot of countries are closing their borders.

Moi - Well it's getting to the point where it's going to go to the supreme court soon. And at this point there are more states that are for gay marriage than against. So it's probably going to get legalized all across, just like interracial marriage was.

I haven't heard of a mass release of serial killers before.

There was at least 10 killers in the video.
Some even killed over 100 people, but they just got let out like it was no biggie \8u/
That seems like such a smart idea >>

IKR :mcargh:
Wow. Even if they killed one person a week, it'd still take two years to kill 100 people. What did anyone have to gain by releasing them?

It was in different places around the world.
It didn't all happen at once, but through the years.
I'll see if I can find it later.

Well if they served their time what were they supposed to do? Go against the law and keep them anyway?

Moi - the way that you said it made me think that for some reason they released them en mass. lol.
