Oh, yeah, that's true. I was gone for three years, though, so I've missed many cool items too. Now I have to trade and sell to get them. I'm doing that currently, so if you have any items from the past 2-3 that you're interested in selling/trading... XD

Ah, I see. Yeah, getting a job is tough. Three out of four jobs I've had were ones where my friend recommended me to the workplace. The other job was school-related, so.

haha nah i dont really have much to sell. xD most items i have are for myself and i dont have extras >.< im pretty sure thats the case, but if i find some ill let ya kno lol

well most people in chemistry go to grad school . heh. theres a lot more opportunities for masters and phds out there compared to bachelors. basically it just gives me a science and laboratory background. but i did a lot of research at my college, and i have more lab experience than average chem majors :v apparently this doesnt matter !!

i really wanted a job working in a laboratory. which would entail running reactions and tests and such on whatever that company produced. :P but now im going for anything

ive had six jobs but three were at my college, two at a theme park, and one i was privately employed ... so not a lot of 'real world' experience or whatever >.>

i also have severe driving anxiety and dont have a license. i just moved to the city but i have to find a job within commutable distance for me :/ makes things a lot tougher!

I get that. I dislike driving myself, and everyone on the street also hates my driving when I'm behind the wheel. XD;

oooh its a blast. im working there again this year, it will be my seventh year. i got promoted last year. :D i only work there during the fall season - when they have their halloween event. its called Halloween Haunt and they have different scary mazes and scare 'zones' in the open through the park. I have always worked in mazes, mostly cause i enjoy them more and i get too cold outside! its only a weekend job, so basically during the weekend i dress up and get makeup or a mask and scare people all night! since i got promoted, i am the Talent Coach of the Maze of Madness. every maze and zone has a talent coach. basically, i dont have a set point in the maze, i go throughout the whole thing and help, encourage, and mentor the other performers in the maze and make sure the theme is consistent and such. i also often help the supervisor with stuff like breaking the performers and making sure every area of the maze is staffed through the whole night, but those arent technically my duties

Ooh, I see. They have that at Knott's here. That sounds really fun...except for all the screaming and possible hitting that may come out of it. People respond very strongly when they're scared. XD

and bro you dont have to tell me, i have been hit a lot. one lady choked me?? but if we get assaulted by customers we can report them, especially if it wasnt an accident. if they did it on purpose they will get kicked out of the park. i worked with one girl who was 16, and she got harassed in our maze and took the guy to court for sexual harassment and won (cause it was totally legit). i had a younger friend whose mom made her quit after she got hit :/ i have been hit a lot by people who didnt mean any harm, and often they apologize, its just that i scared them and they reacted that way. but some people are just awful and try to use it as an excuse to assault people! )<

yeah, as a talent coach i get 10.50/hr which is not bad considering i could be getting minimum wage. :P even as a performer its 9 your first year, 10 all years after that. it is hard work though, and a lot of people dont understand how physically demanding it is to be performing and trying to scare people for SIX HOURS STRAIGHT

ill totally take a ride with you ;P what kind of car do you have? (i know absolutely nothing about cars, just curious)
