Depends on what kind of tutorial you're looking for, if you want to learn how to put shadows on the picture most of them will mainly tell you to keep light source in mind ;) There is quite a lot of tutorials for light/shadow on internet, if you want some in-depth informations:

http://idiotsguides.com/static/quickguides/artphotography/drawing_101_seeing_light_and_shadows.html

http://www.drawinghowtodraw.com/drawing-lessons/improve-drawing/drawing-lights-shadows.html

http://www.artinstructionblog.com/drawing-lesson-a-theory-of-light-and-shade

http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/drawing-light-and-shadows.html

Of course on chibis you add less details and shading/light doesn't need to be exposed and as detailed as on realistic stuff.

This one ain't bad since it focuses on cartoon drawing:

Light and shadows on face (I'd consider this one most useful for basic chibi/knuffel drawing):

Nice video based on manga drawing:

Waldo has been rejected and at the moment I'm not in the mood to fix him.
I've got Poseidon done but I want to release him with Zeus and Hades which I both haven't started yet.
I haven't been able to do something for the past week because I was doing my exams, but something else's been keeping me occupied as well. So I guess I'm not really in the mood? :p
I think I'll start my tree soon though, now I know which tree it will be I can form a bit of an image...

Lots of links to helpful information.

Thank you, I'll check those out. I'm sure they'll all be very helpful, as I have pretty much zero experience with any kind of 2D art. >.>
