Is he the one who you first met when he was wearing sandals?

The time he was wearing sandals wasn't the first time but yep it's the one.

The first time I met him he was trying to put an IV in me and failed. And failed again. And then the nurse failed too. And finally they called another nurse and she saved me from those sadists XD

Goodness, what a first impression! I'm glad he redeemed himself later
Was that an exception or do they normally have trouble finding your veins?
I know when I give blood I have to always have them use one particular arm because they always have trouble with the other....

Somehow, it didn't even end up as a bad first impression for me. And he did redeem himself later on because he's damn good at shooting anesthesia.

Actually, that was the first time anyone tried to put an IV in me or to take blood. But pretty much everyone except the more experienced nurses had troubles finding my veins so I guess that's my normal.

Well, at least you know what to expect now, I guess.

Oh. That reminds me. I need to set an alarm for a reminder of the labwork appointment for my grandmother so I can call her and make sure she doesn't eat when she shouldn't be, until we get that blood draw done. I think I have an alarm set for the appointment itself but by that time it would be too late.

but i think my holiday is anywhere from dec 24 to jan 4. but i have to double check lol.

School holidays here are very long this year. From December 23 to January 7!

i'm not surprised. here, i heard that some schools ended this week and there will be extra long winter vacation because of covid and omnicron. 8U they're even thinking of stopping in person schooling again. it doesn't affect me but still....

Husband too has long vacations. They close the company from the 24th to the 3rd. Usually it's a bit later in December and longer in January but somehow it became this and he's overjoyed because that means he'll be able to avoid his parents for the New Year.

I avoid hospital as much as possible XD
Can't believe I'm now going regularly and only to see a dentist ^^
