Hahaha, sounds stressful :D
Maybe it was a good idea to take in the interns not just because they take some work off your plate but also because you'll be forced to learn to rely on other people and give away responsibility. Seems like you're not just training them, it's more like a train-each-other kind of relationship ;)

Yeah one day I hope they'll take work off my plate :mcdead: so far it seems like more work to show them what to do haha. But I hope it works out that way. And one day they'll be my employees, which will be even cooler.

It will be fine, I can tell :)
(As I am an intern myself right now, lol).
I even had to work on the weekend when nobody else was in the office. I bet this was not that easy for my manager as well, but I felt the pressure, too :D In the end I did okay :)
And again I agree with Chrizine about all that, it is good for you to learn that you can trust and rely on people (as long as those interns don't disappoint you, but I am sure they're not :) )

Guys I think I am too excited for the date :D I couldn't sleep long today. I was actually quite tired yesterday as we went to the zoo. But I still could not fall asleep, I was wide awake at 11.30, but I still tried to sleep (worked out eventually). Appearently I had a bad/weird dream as I woke up sweaty at 4am. Had a hard time falling asleep again, woke up at 5.30 again and barely slept until my alarm at 6.30.
But he seems so nice! Everything was settled on Saturday already, but he still wrote me on Sunday evening and asked me about my day :)

So far a couple of them did let me down once... they're sworn never to do it again, otherwise I'll have to let them go :/

Eee I'm excited along with you 8D He sounds nice!

Oh did they? Awww, that's sad :( I hate it when people waste opportunities..

Well after the date I think he is :D
Just now he wrote me that he hopes that we will see each other soon, I replied that we can maybe meet this week again and he replied "absolutely!" :D
Awwwww guys I am even more excited after this date now :D
I couldn't listen to music at first because my thoughts were so loud (if this makes sense :D?). AHHHHH I am too deep in all that already :D

We had cake and were talking in this café, we showed each other pictures of places we've been to, he told me a little about his daughter, we talked about so many great things, we seem to be on the same page regarding everything :D But it's too early to tell..
After that we went to the river and set there on a bench, beside each other. We kissed :mcsquee: And this time it was him who started it ;D
I am too excited right now :D

Oh gosh it's so exciting :3 I'm glad you had a good date! and that you are already arranging another one, so sweet :3 How old is his daughter? I'm guessing that relationship didn't work out XD

Yeeeep. One of them apologised a lot and the other... well let's just say I got my first experience of leading a disciplinary meeting lol.

It is so excited! It was the last thing I thought about before falling asleep and the frist one to think of this morning.. We don't even know each other yet, still it feels totally great to be with him and I can be honest with him as well.
He loves languages, so do I.. It seems too good to be true :D
I thought so as well about his prior relationship xD I think he was even married.. But I did not want to ask, that is too delicate for the first date I think :D :D
I already want to see him again, that's so wrong! I usually can restrain myself, but this feels different :D
And then I do not even want to think about what's going to happen next, as I am leaving Dublin in 2 and a half months..

Oh no :( But see, that's what I meant with experience xD
I think as long as they did not make mistakes on purpose and apologized afterwards it is always okay. But if one of them didn't.... It's just rude.

Well, I don't think it was on purpose, but it was also very stupid haha. Not an experience thing but rather a logic and courtesy thing. And I'm not 100% sure it was a mistake because it could easily have been set up to look like a mistake to hide the fact she hadn't really done the work.

Ohhh sounds fantastic :D Well, no need to think about that for now. Also really means there's no pressure because if something goes wrong, well, you can escape in just 2 and a half months XD

Yay, I'm glad yolur date went so well Julez :)
And I agree with jacob, don't think about "oh no, what will be in 2 months", just let things happen and you'll work it out when the day comes closer. And if things don't work out, well, then maybe you'll be happy to be able to just leave.

Hm, if they just don't do the work and then try to hide that behind making mistakes that wouldn't be good. But if it's honest mistakes then that's something that happens during learning, and especially if you're just starting out as an intern I guess it is to be expected?
