I made the comment about hobbits because they had furry feet and were addicted to mushrooms.

Love shiitake, I do. Also king oyster, because you can slice up one shroomy and have enough for a nice meal.

Portabello mushrooms are good too. Even just plain white and button mushrooms are yummy.

Oh yes, portabella is also good, you just don't get as much food in one mushroom. XD Buttons are kind of flavourless for me after eating some of the others. I also like wood ear fungus, and I have some dried lobster fungus here that I have to prepare sometime.

Of course it turned into a conversation about mushrooms. You guys didn't comment on my yay pants topic offer. XD

Yes! Because of the way IBS manifests for me I can't eat a lot of veggies, but the wood ear doesn't upset it and I can have the nice veggie like crunch crunch! :D Plus, watching it rehydrate when dry is very amusing.

Re tinder fungus: Wuagh, chaga looks NASTY. lol
