Plant some things to climb up the house, too. That's extra space. And hanging planters work for cherry tomatoes and other crops.

we do have fences but a lot of plants require direct sunlight, especially food type ones. for example, when we planted peppers or tomatoes by the fences, they didn't do very well bc there's too much shade. the only areas we have for direct sunlight are taken up by some perennial flowers and they're so where we plant our cherry tomatoes and like 1-2 melon plants. xD besides, as i said, our yard is small lol. and we share fences with neighbors on both sides. pft.

Gotcha. Was thinking you might get away with some snow peas or some climbing beans.

We used to grow beans too. When I was younger. But we don’t plant them anymore. I think there was a reason but i don’t remember what it was.

The store next door to my parents has to put up a privacy fence but it's a hurricane fence and it doesn't go the length of the property the way it's supposed to. x)
