But you would get a better idea of how you're doing if you could shoot for photo-realism and not uncanny valley. Are you planning to do more of this type of thing?

Meh. I would feel uncomfortable painting on someone's face, and since I don't have any people photos I took myself, that would be like stealing. I probably won't ever do this again, but it's fun for now.
