What I don't like about tanning is that different parts of my body get vastly different colours over the summer. Like, my shoulders are really dark compared to my legs or my belly. And I get horrible tanlines from my shoes, since I tend to wear the same shoes for multiple days in a row. Then I'll have tanned feet with white stripes :D
But overall I think a light tan is very flattering on most people, including me. I had a phase in my youth when I tried to stay pale as best as I could and use crazy high sunscreen all the time - it was annoying as hell, and frankly, it didn't actually look so good on me. But hey, I didn't get any weird tan lines at the time, so that was cool :D

I see like cheerleaders and other sporting people, so like uh bodybuilders... get fake brown as tans and it's like....why?
I guess I don't see the glamour in a tan. Especially fake ones

Ooo I do like a natural tan. When I used to do freestyle dance two years ago you'd have to apply tan so dark otherwise you'd look really pale against other dancers and be marked down. I didn't mind doing it but I couldn't do it very well and it ended up being incredibly blotchy.
It's the hottest day of the year in Britain at the moment though so I might go outside for a bit and hope to tan.

I'm usually pretty covered up, and I've started wearing a sun hat whenever I go out.

Oh, yes, I really like sunhats as well! Having shade on your face and eyes feels so much better than just sunglasses. Not only can you see better, it also feels good on the delicate skin on the face.

I just switched to Transition lenses. I love them, and the sunhats really help them work better too! Otherwise the sun coming over the top of my glasses makes it hard to see.
