Ahhh Jessi I'm the exact same.

Sometimes I'd rewatch an old show half a dozen times but refuse to start a new show... I think a new show often feels intimidating? Like it's a time and emotional investment that you don't know the results of yet /D;;;; old shows are safe and comfortable /o/

What are the shows you guys comfort-rewatch? For me it's sitcoms and Chinese palace dramas

Not really.
But I do have certain items in all the colors, yes, because they are items I find specially versatile.

But anyway, even though I wouldn't buy them all knowing that I can't weights me down.

And on the current topic: my comfort show is BBC's Pride and Prejudice, 1995 version, with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.

I was watching Lie To Me…since its on Disney+ lol. Then i somehow started watching The Little Mermaid but forgot i was still using Cantonese audio for my Disney films….xD so it came out in Cantonese and i was suddenly filled with nostalgia bc i originally watched several disney films in Chinese (Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella and The Little Mermaid, to name a few).

~Amura: I think I can understand that sentiment, I feel that way mostly towards MTs. Even if some sets aren't my style and I wouldn't be able to use them much, I'd still feel bleh if I can't collect them

I also haven't watched Pride and Prejudice, but this person I follow on Tumblr is obsessed with it so years of scrolling Tumblr has shown me pretty much the whole show in gif sets XD;;; From what I can tell it's a lot of Pining and Staring ?

OMG +1 for watching Disney in Chinese. I loved Mulan as a kid and watched that many times. That made watching Mulan in English feel weird

TOTALLY random tangent. I'm at the library working right now, and I just overheard a whole conversation between an elderly lady and a worker. The lady was telling her life's story where she apparently slept with Johnny Depp and he's about to produce a movie she wrote.
I am like 83% sure none of this is real, but that was the most entertaining 10 minutes of my week.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched mulan in Chinese, we got the English vhs and my sister watched it so much, I had memorized parts of it and I could even act them and recite out the scenes. 8U
