Bless Project Gutenberg and Archive.org for us bibliophiles. My fiancé and I like to raid them for spooky stories every October. Frankenstein is on the list for this year. Last year we did Dracula. It was good! And Stoker's related book "Dracula's Guest" looks interesting. I'm only a chapter deep into it so far. A little obsessed with Howard Pyle's King Arthur series at the moment.

I have wandered in Project Gutenberg, and then gotten my favourites from there in paper. lol I like the used book store.

My LoTR is actually seven books, the way Tolkien is said to have intended it to be originally. They are all nicely sized paperbacks, and they all fit into a pretty box.

Of course, I also have the giant illustrated box set, but that's for admiring, not for trying to hold or carry around. XD

Oh, I've never heard of Dracula's Guest. This is strange, with how I chase things down. Have you ever read The Snake's Pass? That one has some scary in it! It's also from Stoker. I can't remember if I've read Pyle's King Arthur stuff, but I have his Robin Hood.

And I think I got a boxed edition of LotR too. I wonder if I actually read it all lol. Like each book is separated into different sections so there’s more than…3-4 books. Or how ever many there are.

Each book in the "trilogy" was meant to be two books, and that's how my set has them. All the stuff at the back about lore and stuff is also in a separate book. They're blue, and the title is spread out across the backs of all of them. Is that what yours is like?

I haven't heard of The Snake's Pass, but I am very intrigued. I'll add it to the list! Robin Hood is absolutely on the list, as is Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, and several other classics I've been itching to get. I skimmed through Frankenstein the other day and it seemed more melodramatic than anything, but I still really want to read it.

Tbh I don’t know if they were blue. But I did remember them having the spines form the name of the series lol.
