Anytime I share my art with people online, no one notices.
But I'll see 40, 50+ people noticing art on the same level as mine, or the same poses,
the same medium, and I wonder what's wrong with mine?
Like even if notes + attention aren't everything, it's still ..
I mean artists still want feedback. I want feedback.
Not silence.
Ahhhh.
I wish I had Photoshop on here so I could make a Knuffel.
:T

heyo.
uhm, not sure if i attempted to post in here yet but i'm doin' it again anyways...
i feel like i did but i have no endurance going back pages lool.
sounds frustrating fran :( i was going to suggest tumblr but i notice you have one. i see some artists getting a footing there. it kinda seems like the way to go is to draw something popular enough (like rei ayanami or something), tag it, and lead people to your blog that way. kinda seems like the tumblr method. i can understand not wanting to do that, lol.
and there's never feedback on there.
deviantart feedback is the only thing i can think of and it's rare to see any constructive criticism, it's usually just vague praises or nothing.
there's myfolio and pixiv and the like too... maybe they'd be worth a membership? /:

There's a specific book that I've been drawing for, and I've gone out of my comfort zone
to post pictures of the characters on Tumblr ..
and it's a new fandom, so it's not like everyone's expecting high quality digital drawings.
(I only draw pencil + paper).
But I see other doodles and sketches getting a lot of feedback/reblogs,
and mine will barely get looked at if at all.
It's just disheartening. ; u;
Thanks, though, for the suggestions! c:
How are you?

Franny: I get that all the time xD
I've seen people with way worse art than mine get more faves and comments.
Someone told me it's because people try to encourage them to keep practicing.
I know I posted some of my shitty art once, and a ton of people faved and commented it xD
ashabellanar: Can I call you Asha, or Bella? If not, what do you want to be called 8u?
I've gotten like over 60 notes on Tumblr for older art. It was fanart, though.

@Moi
Most of the people in the fandom I've seen reblog all sorts of fanart like,
"!!!! LSKDMFSE THIS IS AMAZING"
Like that's ... most of the responses any fanart gets in this fandom.
Except mine. It gets like 2 notes. Maybe.
I'm just bitter, man. D;

xD
It doesn't mean anything \8u/
You just gotta get yourself out there.
I used to think my art sucked because no one payed much attention.
But it's not true.
Aki adds hers to groups on DA and she got a ton of followers and favorites xD
