The plumber came by today, and my apartment has heat now!

Woot woot!!
I went through two winters with a very worn out unit made in '94 that kept the house maybe 60-ish. May you enjoy your newly warmed apartment!

Yay for heat!! I live in a subtropical climate and sometimes it gets randomly cold. So cold that we have to wear like fourteen layers of clothing. last night I almost went to bed in a jacket.

I remember the last time I went to HK like years ago. It was during the end of the year like December or so. At times it would cool down, at others it would be hot. I got sick. Lol

The window is still totally iced over, and I'm still wearing layers, but I'm comfy. And so very grateful for the comfy. Not having somewhere warm to come back to was starting to get me.
Ack to the needing to go to bed in a jacket. Before the thermostat was fixed I was sleeping in two nightshirts, and had the big flannel nightgown laying on top of the blankets so I could pull it on the moment I sat up. (too much stuff on me in bed doesn't work well for me)
EDIT: I just noticed that I have a heck of a lot more FP than I did last night. Is that a bug I should report?

i wouldn't be comfortable wearing a jacket to bed lol.
tbh, i can't stand long pants or long sleeves for bed. usually i just shuck them back up again lol. thats why i have to rely on a tower heater and thick blankets. lol

Sleeves I can sometimes do. Pants or a long nightgown makes my back and hips hurt.
I opened the blinds today and melted some of the ice off the window.
I still have more food points than I ought. Don't know what to do about it.

I’m hit and miss for sleeves in sleepwear. I don’t mind gowns but I always wear shorts underneath bc I feel exposed in just underpants.
Just save your FPs lol. That’s what I would do.

So far, no more spookies. But I don't dare let my guard down. XD
Our furnace is deadski and so we have to use small space heaters. But it doesn't always warm up the whole dining room.
I sleep in old shirts that are too holey to wear in public and a pair of old stretch shorts that I also wouldn't wear in public.
