If it's not tornados, it's earthquakes.
A few months back, while I was sitting at my desk at work talking with a customer on the ohone, we had an earthquake.
It was like this really loud rumble, my but vibrated, my seat moved backwards, my computer monitor moved forward, my phone got all discombobulated, and all of the cubicles danced.
That was my first time ever experiencing that. It scared me.
When I got home, there was a little bit of water splashed out of my fish tank.
I can handle tornados. You find a bathroom, lean against the wall, and put your head between your legs as you slide down into a squat. That's easy. But an earthquake? You are S.O.L. How do you protect yourself when the very ground beneath you is moving?
That's frightening.
