Here in Missouri we get primarily tornadoes and earthquakes.
I'm used to it by now, but when it gets really bad or really close to home, I worry.
There's was a horrible storm a while back and tornadoes were spotted REALLY close to my mom's place,
and I couldn't get a hold of her and I was so terribly worried she was hurt that I started bawling.
Missouri's had some really bad tornadoes.
And where I go to school, we're on top of this really big fault line that's bound to go at some point soon.

Moi// +gets a surf board and some sunglasses+ Woooooo! \m/
Chris// Tornadoes aren't so bad....no, I'm lying. They're not fun at all. But I've been through so many, I'm okay with them. Except, where I grew up we had basements, because there were no earthquakes, so we didn't have to worry about that, and the ground was pretty wet, so the foundation of our homes wasn't cracking. But when I moved to Texas, I panicked the first time the tornado alarm went off. I'd never been in a situation where I didn't have a basement to go into when there was a tornado. That's what scared me. And then the ground shook, and I was like, "Oh gawd! I'm gonna die here!"
Fran// I'm glad she was okay. That's some pretty scary stuff.

It is. D:
I know the lack-of-basement issue all too well.
I've always lived in apartments for the most part?
And my mom lives in a mobile home (super scary).

That has to be very scary!
I'm happy that we don't have tornados or earthquakes

I have never been in an earthquake 8u
I know we had a tornado warning one night, and me, my dad, and my grandpa got a mattress and stayed in the hallway.

I'm less scared of earthquakes than any other natural disaster, I think ...
Only because we have them a lot but they're pretty gentle.
I'm sure it'd be super terrifying if it were bad. D;
Not a bad idea! I know one time my sister and I had to sit in our bathtub during a tornado warning.

Fran// I've gotten more used to it now, cause I've been down here for a few years, but still, not fun.
Starlight// What do you have instead. Also....hello thar!
Chris// I should live in a bubble now. LOL
Moi// Really? We have earthquakes all the time here. I can't feel all of them, thankfully-unless I've gotten used to a constant state of vibration - it's the big ones that I can feel. They scare me.
Art// +rolls with+ Hallooooooo!
Aki// HOMG HI! How goes it!?
