When someone says 'Nope.' what does it mean? I don't mean like when you're like 'Shall I tell you about that time I found a slug in the bathtub?' and they be like 'Nope.' I mean when they describe their mood as 'Nope.' Or go 'Nope nope nope nope nope' or say 'All aboard the nope train.'

It means they refuse outright.
Like if you see a scary graveyard, and you say "Nope!" it just means you refuse to go in.
