My uncle did that. He infested his home so badly that it wasn't worth treatment by the time he reached out (a hurricane damaged it very badly anyway and my grandmother had moved out.). He spread them to us a SECOND time and we had to pay thousands of dollars to have them irradicated. I was living with a boyfriend, and he wanted to go to his best friend's house, but he had bed bugs. He wound up bringing them home AND to my best friend's house. Everyone in my family has PTSD because of bed bugs >_<

I miss the library. I loved taking my kids during the times they lived with me. If I can regain custody, we goin' back! Our library is pretty cool. They have a lot of regular events through the month, and last year my daughter went nuts making a candy monster for their Christmas candy event.

No bed bugs here, but my poor plants have contracted spider mites and some other little pest. Treating them with rubbing alcohol right now. Carefully.

Mine also has events apparently. One was a murder mystery book club. Not joining it but the book I got was listed for that book club. x'D
They also have a movie club thing and crafts and anxiety chats and chair yoga and more. x'D

I got my library card when I was a kid. Well my first one anyway. Then I either lost it or had to replace it with the newer editions. Lol

I use to have one back in the previous town I lived in.. Never got one for the library here, until today. x3

I dunno if my old library card still works. Lol

It probably doesn't. They're set to expire after so long. Right now my card is set to temp, while they mail me a post card to check my address and stuff.. >w>, But after I bring in the postcard, my card will be valid for 3 years or something.

I dunno, it might be different here lol. Or maybe they’ll just give me a better looking one. Lol

They never did fully get them out of that first building I lived in. But none of them came with me to the condo, and none came here, thank God. I think they didn't do the CPTSD I have any favours. I used to hallucinate bugs when I was stressed, only realized now that the trip outs have gone on to other things instead (like imagining someone crying out in pain, after seeing that poor lady die at the market).

I have a little Christmas tree shaped ornament that I made at a library event. Because I'm afraid of the books, but I still go hang out there sometimes. And rent DvDs. Once in awhile I get over the fear enough to borrow a book, even. But I really like my own library here in the apartment the best.

Went out for lunch and dinner with my aunt…er…first cousin? She’s my mom’s cousin so I guess in western terms she’s also my cousin? Lol
She gave me some random Xmas tree charms for like a bracelet or necklace. Which btw, I don’t even wear jewelry apart from my jade Buddhist bracelets/Malas lol. I hate dangly jewelry lol.
