I believe helix is the one not quite top of the ear but close enough. Similar to industrial but industrial is more than just that.


Make sure the jewelry is quality pieces and I'm guessing you know the aftercare and stuff. Handy tip, if it gets really angry like or bumps around it, sudocream is so handy for that along with the saline solutions.

No actually I thought about getting another piercing right after having the first one done :D It was not painful at all :)

You can basically choose where you want it.

I actually wanted a scaffold/industrial, but several piercers said my ear is not suitable for it..

I've got ear lobes just the pair but I have a nose stud.


I'm in a body mod group and read a lot in there. For if I ever want to get any mods done (prob tattoos one day).

No most people's ears I think aren't suited to it. My brother had it, as a t bar thing but he last I know just now has rings.

Besides that cartilage spot is hard to heal


Alright so if the spray runs out, you can use hot water with non-iodized salt. I forgot the ratios but I'm sure there's a site there with info, maybe BAF has tips? that word has a link in it btw.

Thanks for the clarifications guys :) I'm a total noob when it comes to piercings or tattoos, I don't even have pierced earlobes.

If anything, I'd probably get a tattoo, but only if I somehow came across a motif that was absolutely perfect and I was really sure about. Probably never gonna happen :D
