Yeah, they are just like a big phone. I can't make calls on mine or text though.

You can do most things on a tablet that you can do on a computer. Surf the 'net, type, etc. A lot of websites have apps that are their website optimized for a tablet (smaller screen). You can't do full version programs of things like PhotoShop although there are a couple of PhotoShop apps that are abbreviated versions of the program.

Tablets are much more portable than a laptop, though. So if you're on the go a lot that might be worth it.

I only go to and from work, and at work I'm often busy. So I guess it wouldn't benefit me much.

Yeah, that's me, too. It's a fun gadget, but I don't think I'd spend that much money on another one.

I have a tablet, but it is a very cheap and outdated one.
