I know about two brands of curry paste around here. In one the red is milder, in one the green is milder. The milder green is a store brand, and has more flavour. I like to sometimes spread it thin on hot toast.

Yeah. I want to taste too. Strange thing with my boss's cooking... even when it's painful I CAN taste the other things. For a couple bites, at least.

I don’t always like to eat curry bc it’s like too heaty. Like I’d feel like I’d get mouth blisters or something lol.

TBH, a lot of the curries I eat are barely warm. Right now though, I'm more fond of Greek Giant beans.

No no when I mean heaty, I mean it in the way of Chinese yin yang medicinal cuisine lol. Heaty, not spicy (or warm). It’s like…food (or medicine) that is particularly stimulating or energizing. Like when you eat too much fried food (or spicy food like curry) and then you break out in acne or something. There’s also cooling foods.

Hi. Sorry I haven't been on. Joslyn's on summer vaction and one of the family cat's is dying. Nothing much we can do, but make sure he's comfy and give him attention. He's old, so it's not like it's unexpected. But it's still painful. Especially, since I'm the one he's attatched to and just yesterday, he was purring while I petted and held him. But now we think he's close to the end. He's resting so I thought I'd finally update you guys.

Sorry for bringing the mood down. I gotta come on more. And not with sad news.

Yeah, that really bites. My childhood cats lived to be 17 and 18, and it was not easy laying them to rest. May he pass peacefully, and deepest condolences to you and your family.

On one hand, I’m glad I don’t have any fluffy pets. On the other hand, i also want to pet fluffy animals. Lol

Well, he finally passed this morning. I feel so hollow. My parents tell me it's because I did all my crying yesterday and now I'm in empty mode. But I feel bad that I'm not crying again. It makes me feel like I don't care now.

I’m headed back to Canada now. At San Fran for a transfer. It’s like half the temp as HK lol, only around 12-14C. While HK was hot and humid and double that.
